GUIDE BAR BEARING

The guide bar bearing supports the sliding movement of the blade carriage along the RGV slicer's bar, ensuring smooth, play-free movement during cutting.

DIN 625 standard: ball bearings in different sizes depending on the model — 6204 (20x47x14mm), 608 (8x22x7mm), 6202 (15x35x11mm, code 860, for pulley), 626 (6x19x6mm, code 862).

Sign of wear: if the carriage slides with resistance, noise or side play along the bar, the bearing has reached the end of its life.

For another slicer bearing (carriage) see Carriage Bearings. For other RGV spare parts go back to RGV Slicer Spare Parts - All Models.

Frequently asked questions

How do I identify the right bearing?
From the DIN 625 code stamped on the original bearing, or by measuring the inner diameter, outer diameter and thickness.

Why does the carriage slide with noise?
It's often the guide bar bearing that has lost lubrication or worn out: replacing it restores quiet sliding.
