BRUCIATORI UGELLI PILOTA

The pilot burner keeps a small flame permanently lit which, via the thermocouple, ensures safe ignition of the main burner on professional gas ovens and stoves.

Types: pilot with 1, 2 or 3 flames (more flames ensure more reliable ignition on larger burners), with bracket or primary air — the correct configuration depends on the connected main burner.

Nozzles: the nozzle's bore (e.g. 0.20mm) determines the gas flow rate and must match the type of gas used (natural gas or LPG) — the wrong nozzle causes a flame that's too weak or too strong.

Flame spreaders: distribute the main burner's flame evenly, available in various diameters (e.g. 100, 105, 125mm).

Compatibility: SIT components available (Target series, 0/100, 0160), Baron and Olis.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose the right nozzle?
Check the type of gas (natural gas or LPG) and the bore marked on the original nozzle: an incorrect bore alters the gas flow rate and flame quality.

Why does the pilot go out on its own?
Often it's the thermocouple (not the pilot burner itself) failing to detect the flame correctly; also check that the nozzle isn't clogged.
