RGV SPRINGS

Replacement springs for RGV slicers keep the machine's moving parts in place: the carriage lock during travel, the cursor, and the return of the food-presser arm.

Carriage lock spring: model-specific — BLC 220/250/275 Lady, V 350 S, 350, 300 S, 22/25 — it holds the carriage in the set position during cutting. Cursor spring (mod. 350): acts on the carriage cursor's movement. Swan-neck arm lift spring: pulls the food-presser arm back into position after use.

Sign of wear: if the carriage no longer stays put in the set position, or the food-presser arm no longer lifts on its own, the spring has lost its tension.

For the rest of the RGV spare parts, see RGV Slicer Spare Parts; for another carriage-lock component, see RGV Carriage-Lock Cams.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose the right spring?
By your RGV slicer's exact model: every size and series has its own dedicated spring, not interchangeable with the others.

Why does the carriage no longer stay in place?
It's often the carriage lock spring that has lost tension with use: replacing it restores the lock in position.
