The blade-cover tie rod is the threaded rod that secures and holds the blade cover (the guard that shields the non-cutting edge of the blade) in place on NOAW MOD. T4S-275G-30E gravity slicers. Screwed into the machine body, it keeps the blade guard firm and correctly aligned, ensuring the safety guard stays seated during use and cleaning.
This is a wear component: over time the thread can strip, or the rod can bend or develop play, compromising how securely the blade cover is held and therefore operator safety. In such cases it should be replaced. Installation is straightforward: screw the tie rod into its seat and check that the blade cover is held firmly.
