This is the original RGV blade locking/release screw for the Ausonia Smarty 170 domestic slicer (spare part code 110892). It is the fastening/locking screw that secures the cutting disc to the motor unit and allows it to be removed: unscrewing it releases the blade for removal, and screwing it back on locks the blade in its working position.
The Smarty 170 is fitted with a 170 mm German steel blade that is easy to remove for cleaning, along with a removable carriage and food pusher: this screw is precisely the element that lets you take the disc off safely after each use. The slice thickness adjustment ranges from 0 to 20 mm and the motor is rated 120 W.

Replace it when the screw is stripped, deformed or no longer clamps the blade properly: an imperfect fastening can cause disc play, vibration or an unsafe blade fit. When refitting, make sure the screw is fully tightened before restarting the slicer.
