The vela support is a spare part for the RGV Nuova 300 Lusso slicer (code 765) that holds and allows movement of the vela, the plate against which the food rests during cutting. It is part of the vela-movement assembly: it lets the vela move away from the blade for slice-thickness adjustment and for cleaning.
When the support is worn, loose or broken, the vela can develop play, fail to stay in position during cutting, or not move correctly during thickness adjustment: in these cases it must be replaced to restore correct movement and stability of the vela.
