FAMA VACUUM PACKING MACHINES

Fama vacuum packing machines come in two families, depending on the suction method and working volume.

Bell/chamber (FSCV 300/350/400 series): the bag is sealed inside a chamber where the vacuum is created, with a sealing bar from 300 to 400mm — suited to vacuum-sealing liquids or marinades and for more intensive workloads.

External bar (FSV series, stainless steel or ABS, bar from 320 to 520mm): suction happens from outside the bag, giving a more compact and affordable machine, suited to regular use where sealing liquids isn't required.

When do I need a bell/chamber machine instead of a bar machine?
To seal liquids, marinades or very moist foods, where the external suction of a bar machine risks pulling the liquid out of the bag.

Which sealing bar length should I choose?
Based on the maximum width of the bags you normally use: a longer bar lets you seal wider packs.
