The control panel protection is the rubberized keypad that covers and protects the button panel of the AMB series 2000 meat mincer. Made of flexible rubber shaped around the buttons, it forms a barrier against liquids, grease and dust during meat processing and washing, preventing infiltration from reaching the electrical contacts underneath.
With daily use the membrane wears out: it tears, hardens or loses elasticity, and the buttons start responding inconsistently or stop responding to pressure altogether. In these cases replacing the rubberized keypad restores button function and the panel's watertight seal.
