Star blade (4-point knife), spare part for the RGV New Duetto Plus mincer/tomato-press (exploded-view number I). It is the rotating blade that works against the perforated plate: as it turns it cuts the meat pushed by the auger, ensuring a fine, even mince. It is one of the two cutting elements of the unit (blade + plate) and should always be paired with a plate in good condition.
The star blade is a wear component: with use the edge rounds off and the cut becomes mushy, the meat heats up and the machine struggles. Replacing blade and plate together restores a clean cut. Central square hole 8x8 mm.
