Carriage for RGV Ausonia 220 slicer – part no. 060. Sliding component that holds the food during cutting, running along the base guide rails. Replace if it jams, has excessive play, or the food-pusher mount is damaged.
The carriage (sliding tray) is the moving component of the slicer that holds the food to be cut: it slides back and forth along the base guide rails, bringing the product into contact with the blade on each pass, and it usually also carries the food pusher/clamp that holds the food safely in place during cutting.
This part is subject to wear and to plastic breakage at the points where it clips onto the guide rails: when the carriage moves jerkily, has excessive play, jams mid-stroke, or the food-pusher mount is broken, it should be replaced to ensure an even cut and safe use of the machine.
