The blade cover tie rod is the threaded rod that fixes and holds the blade cover in position on the slicer. Screwed into the machine body, it firmly keeps the guard disc that covers the non-cutting edge of the blade in place, ensuring both the stability of the assembly and the proper safety function of the blade cover during use and cleaning.
This spare part is adaptable to ABO slicers.

It should be replaced when the thread is stripped, the rod is bent, or there is play: in these cases the blade cover no longer stays securely in place and the blade protection is compromised. Replacement is quick: unscrew the old tie rod and screw in the new one, checking that the blade cover is properly tightened.
