The blade-cover disc for the Sirman PLD 350 TOP CE slicer (Palladio 350 Top) with square fitting is the guard that covers the non-cutting edge of the circular blade. It is a safety component: it prevents accidental contact with the perimeter zone of the blade during cleaning and maintenance, and helps keep the blade edge protected when the slicer is not in use.
Replace it when the disc is deformed, dented, cracked, or when the square fitting no longer provides a stable lock: a damaged or loose blade guard reduces protection and may vibrate during operation. It is fitted via the square coupling provided on the machine's blade assembly.
