The blade-cover disc for the Sirman PLD 350 TOP CE slicer (Palladio 350 Top) with square fitting is the guard that covers the non-cutting edge of the circular blade. It is a safety component: it prevents accidental contact with the perimeter zone of the blade during cleaning and maintenance, and helps keep the blade edge protected when the slicer is not in use.
