Blade cover (blade guard) for FAC slicer model 250 E / I / TSV, round attachment. Safety protection for the non-cutting edge of the blade. Ref. AGWSFACAFF0064.
The blade cover (blade guard) is the protection that covers the non-cutting edge of the slicer blade, leaving exposed only the section needed for slicing. It is a safety component: by shielding the perimeter of the blade, it reduces the risk of accidental contact during use and especially during cleaning, disassembly and sharpening.
This blade cover is specific to FAC slicers model 250 in the E / I / TSV variants, with a round attachment. Before purchasing, check that your FAC 250 model matches one of these codes and that the blade cover fixing system is the round type.
Replace it when it is deformed, cracked, scored or no longer fits snugly against the blade: a damaged or misaligned blade cover leaves part of the cutting edge exposed and compromises protection, and may also interfere with the correct closing/safety of the machine. Fitting is done by mounting it onto the intended round attachment in place of the worn part.
