bushing for tie rod slim
Metal bushing for the blade-cover tie rod of slicers, narrower (slim) version (reduced diameter). The element of the fastening assembly on which the tie rod works to lock the blade cover onto the blade. Check seat clearance before purchasing.
Metal bushing for the blade-cover tie rod of slicers, in the narrower (slim) version. It is part of the blade-cover fastening assembly: it is the element on which the tie rod works to lock the blade cover (the safety guard over the non-cutting edge of the slicer blade) onto the blade. The bushing guides and supports the tie rod, keeping the blade cover firmly clamped in position during use while allowing it to be removed for thorough cleaning of the cutting area.
The narrower variant has a reduced section/diameter compared with the standard bushing: check the seat clearance on your model before purchasing, as the slim version is not interchangeable with the larger-diameter one.
Replace it when it shows play, ovalisation or wear of the tie-rod seat: a worn fit no longer clamps the blade cover securely, which is an operator safety risk.
