Replacement carriage group for RGV Kelly series slicers mod. 250, 275 and 300 in BLC version (with tray lock, the system that lets you remove the tray and its support for complete cleaning of the machine). The carriage group is the sliding assembly the meat carriage travels on: it runs on the guide bar under the tray and determines how smooth and precise the cutting stroke is.

It should be replaced when the carriage has play, moves in jerks or becomes hard to push even after cleaning and lubricating the bar: these are the typical signs of wear on the sliding surfaces. A worn carriage group worsens slice consistency and strains the operator's wrist, while with a new group the carriage glides smoothly again over its whole travel.
After fitting, it is good practice to clean the slide bar and lubricate it with food-grade oil to extend the life of the spare part.
