The ABB B6-30-10-P contactor with 24V control coil is a three-pole mini contactor from the B6 series, used as a spare part in the electrical panels of food processing machines (slicers, meat mincers, dough mixers, vacuum sealers and similar) to switch the motor or auxiliary loads on and off.

The contactor pulls in its armature via the 24V-energised coil, closing the power contacts to start the motor. It should be replaced when you notice welded or burnt contacts, humming/vibration of the armature, failure to close or failure to release, or when the coil is open-circuit (the motor does not start even though the control signal is present). Always make sure the replacement coil voltage (24V) matches the machine's control circuit voltage before installation.
