Replacement lid for the Sirman Blitz benchtop cutter with 3.2-litre bowl (ref. AGWSIB4003008). It closes the mixing bowl while the cutter is running, used in professional kitchens to chop, emulsify and prepare creams, sauces, doughs and minced preparations.

On the Blitz cutter the lid is interlocked with the bowl: the motor only starts when the lid is correctly fitted and closed, a safety feature that prevents access to the blades while the machine is running. The opening on top also lets you add ingredients while the machine is operating, without removing the lid.

Replace it when it shows cracks, crazing, clouding of the material, or when it no longer closes properly: in these cases the safety interlock may fail to engage, or the lid may not hold in place during processing.
