Cheese grating disc model DT2, spare part for the disc-type Sirman vegetable/mozzarella cutters. It is the disc that, rotating at high speed in the disc bell, grates the cheese to a fine, even grain. The discs are in cutlery steel and are easily fitted and removed to change the type of processing and for cleaning.
The disc is a wear component: with use the edge rounds off and grating becomes uneven. Replacing it restores a clean cut and a constant output.
