43x9x12 emery for oberwerk slicer and compatible fine grain

Emery grinding wheel (whetstone) measuring 43 mm diameter x 9 mm thick, 12 mm centre bore, fine grain, for the built-in sharpener unit of Oberwerk slicers and compatible machines.

This is the disc fitted onto the sharpener's grinding-wheel shaft and used for the finishing/honing pass on the blade edge, after the initial grinding done with the coarse-grain emery (the two wheels are typically fitted as a pair on twin-wheel sharpeners). The fine grain polishes and refines the cutting edge, giving a cleaner, sharper blade and a more precise slice.

Replace it when the wheel is worn down, glazed (a shiny surface that no longer "bites" the blade) or chipped: a worn emery wheel won't sharpen properly and can even damage the blade edge instead of restoring it. Check that diameter, thickness and centre bore match the original part before fitting.
