The eccentric cam (also known as a snail cam) is the mechanical component which, mounted on the slicer's drive shaft, transmits and regulates the sliding stroke. It is a compatible spare part for Regina slicers and is also adaptable to Marwel slicers.
Part dimensions (the key data for a correct replacement):
- Bore diameter: Ø 14 mm
- Height (H): 24 mm
For correct assembly it should be paired with the Glacer bushing Ø 14 with 12 mm inner diameter (code AGWSAFF0101): bushing and eccentric cam should be checked together to ensure play-free movement.
When to replace it: the eccentric cam should be changed in case of wear on the bore or its seat, excessive play, irregular sliding or noise during operation. A worn eccentric cam compromises slicing consistency. Always check that the dimensions (bore Ø 14, h 24) match those of the original part before ordering, as eccentric cams exist in different, non-interchangeable sizes.
