Self-braking board, model HP2, spare part for graters. It is the control board that manages start/stop and integrates the self-braking function: it quickly stops the grater roller at switch-off, a safety requirement to prevent the tool from coasting on.
It is an electronic component subject to failure from overvoltage, moisture or wear: typical symptoms are a machine that will not start or a roller that does not brake at switch-off (a hazardous condition). Replacing it with the correct model restores controls and braking.
