Domino Smart/Jolly planetary mixers in the 5 and 7 litre bowl sizes (and the equivalent Fama PM7 version) use this board to drive the motor throughout the kneading cycle: from start-up to continuous speed adjustment via the potentiometer knob. This is the correct spare part when the machine does not switch on, the motor stays still despite pressing the start button, speed no longer responds to the potentiometer, or you notice burn marks or a burnt-component smell on the board.
Replace the board with the machine unplugged from the mains. Since the board works together with the potentiometer and the start button, if a fault occurs it is worth checking the condition of these two components as well.
