The aluminum foot keeps the slicer firmly in place on the work surface, reducing vibration and movement while cutting. Compared to rubber versions, the aluminum foot offers greater mechanical strength and durability over time, while still maintaining the correct height and levelness of the machine. When the foot becomes loose, damaged or worn at the contact point, the slicer can become unstable or misaligned; in these cases it must be replaced with a spare of the same thread pitch (M8) to restore stability and safe use.
