This is the gas spring that supports and guides the opening/closing of the heat sealer's lid: compressed gas inside pushes the rod, balancing the weight of the lid and preventing it from slamming shut. Replace it when the lid no longer stays up on its own, drops slowly, or the stroke feels weak/jerky, a sign the piston has lost pressure.
Compatible with Orved tray heat sealers fitted with the Vapsint 156.145.13 130N piston.
