The satellite gear is part of the gear transmission group that transfers motion from the motor to the blade, reducing rotation speed and increasing the transmitted torque. It is a key component for the correct operation of the reduction gear train: when the teeth wear, chip or develop excessive play, the transmission loses precision and can generate noise, vibration or irregular blade rotation. In these cases the gear must be replaced with a spare of the same dimensions (21 mm O.D., 8 mm bore, Z25) to restore proper motion transmission and safe cutting operation of the machine.
