Z30 gear (30 teeth) with seats for 6 mm shock-absorber pins for professional meat slicers. It transfers motion from the motor to the blade hub; the rubber pins absorb jolts and vibrations, protecting the drive train. Replace it when the teeth are worn or the blade turns in jerks. Ref. ATOAFF0168.

This 30-tooth gear is part of the blade-hub drive train: it receives motion from the motor and transfers it to the blade. The recesses in the gear body house the 6 mm diameter rubber shock-absorber pins (parastrappi), which dampen jolts and vibrations at start-up, protecting the teeth and the gearmotor from torque shocks.

When to replace it: worn, chipped or rounded teeth, grinding or rasping noise during operation, blade turning in jerks, slowing under load or no longer turning although the motor runs. When replacing the gear it is good practice to fit new shock-absorber pins as well, since hardened or crushed rubber pins accelerate the wear of the freshly installed part.
