Carriage hand guard for FAC and Swedlinghaus gravity-feed slicers, models 195 / 220 / 250R / 250E, CE and CE domestic versions. Safety shield between the hand and the blade during slicing: mandatory component, to be replaced if broken or missing. Hole centre distance 14.9 cm (measurement to check for compatibility). Specific to FAC/Swedlinghaus, not interchangeable with RGV models.
knob mod.250 / 275 essedue
This graduated knob adjusts the slicing thickness on Essedue mod. 250/275 meat slicers. Screwed onto the regulator plate's pin, turning it in either direction moves the plate closer to or further from the blade, letting you go from paper-thin slices to thicker cuts by following the numbers printed on the dial that indicate the set thickness. It is a genuine Essedue part, ref. ESSAFF0034, made specifically for the mod. 250/275 and not interchangeable with other slicers in the range.
Since it is the part handled most at every use of the slicer, it wears over time: replace it when the graduated scale becomes unreadable, when the knob is cracked or broken, or when it spins freely without moving the regulator plate. In these cases the slice thickness can no longer be set accurately, risking uneven cuts. Fitting a genuine ESSAFF0034 knob restores accurate, repeatable thickness settings.
