In the Sirman GF professional grater range, the collection tray for the grated cheese has a built-in safety microswitch: the machine stops or won't start if the tray is not correctly inserted, preventing hands from reaching the toothed roller outlet while the machine is running.
Replace it when the plexiglass is cracked, cloudy or scratched to the point of compromising visibility of the collected product, or when the built-in microswitch no longer correctly triggers the machine's safety cut-off.
