This is the perforated basket that separates the juice from the pulp and waste during extraction: the produce pushed by the auger is filtered through the micro-perforated walls. It is a wear part — over time the holes deform or clog and the yield drops. Replace it when the juice comes out cloudy or extraction slows down.
Specific to the RGV Green Juice model (different from the baskets of the Juice Art series). Wash it immediately after use with the dedicated brush to prevent the pulp from drying inside the holes.
