The carriage support bar Ø16 x 390.5 (ref. 501) is the sliding rod on which the product carriage of RGV Dolly 22/25 series slicers is mounted and moves. The carriage slides along this bar on every cutting pass: the stability and smoothness of this movement — and therefore cutting precision — depend on it.

When the bar is worn, dented or bent, the carriage tends to stick, vibrate or slide with friction, resulting in uneven slicing and more effort during use. In these cases, replacing the bar — together with checking the sliding bushings — restores the carriage's original smooth movement.
