Suction vortex breaker (rompigorgo) for the wash pump intake, a replacement part compatible with Hoonved C-series professional dishwashers, models C53E and C60E.
The vortex breaker fits on the pump suction inlet inside the tank: its function is to prevent an air vortex from forming where the pump draws in water, ensuring steady, uninterrupted suction during the wash and rinse cycle. Without this part the pump can draw in air together with water, causing a pressure drop at the wash arms, abnormal noise, and reduced washing performance.
Hoonved reference code: 160313 (exploded-view number 37670, for model C60E). Replace it when broken, cracked, or when the dishwasher shows poor washing performance with abnormal suction noise from the pump.
