The perforated tank filter with overflow is a compatible spare part for professional dishwashers and glasswashers of the Hoonved 43-53-60 series. It sits at the bottom of the wash tank and serves a dual purpose: the perforated surface catches food residues and solid particles lifted by the spray jets, preventing them from clogging the wash and drain pumps, while the built-in overflow tube keeps the water level in the tank constant, draining off any excess and preventing spillage.
With use the filter tends to become clogged with limescale and grease or to deform; when the holes become blocked, washing performance drops and water can overflow abnormally from the tank: in these cases it needs to be replaced. Regular removal and cleaning is recommended to extend its life.
