The auger is the mechanical heart of the RGV Juice Art Digital juice extractor: a slowly rotating screw shaft inside the extractor body that pushes and presses fruit and vegetables against the filter, separating juice from pulp through cold-press extraction. Thanks to its low rotation speed, the auger helps preserve enzymes and nutrients while limiting oxidation of the extracted juice.
This spare part corresponds to position 7 in the exploded-view diagram of the RGV Juice Art Digital extractor and is identified by the original code 110862. It is a wear part, since it works constantly in contact with fibres and food residue from the pressed produce.
When the auger is worn or damaged (worn teeth, chipped or deformed surface), juice yield drops noticeably and the pulp coming out remains damp and poorly pressed, a sign that pressing is no longer effective. Replacing the auger restores the extractor's original performance without having to replace the whole appliance.
