The collector channels pressurised water from the pump to the spray arm, allowing it to rotate and wash dishes evenly in the upper basket. Replace it when it leaks, is clogged with limescale that reduces pressure and spray, is cracked, or when the upper spray arm no longer rotates properly and washing in the top of the machine becomes insufficient.
