The FAMA model 22 meat grinder mouth/body, stainless steel, without auger, is the grinding chamber/housing through which the meat is pushed before being ground. It houses the auger, plates and knives, and is compatible with FAMA TG22, TGI22, TI22, TS22 meat grinders.
This item includes only the grinder mouth/body, in corrosion-resistant stainless steel, WITHOUT the auger, which must therefore be purchased separately if needed. It is recommended to also purchase the locking handwheel, since it is the handwheel that clamps the whole grinding unit (mouth, auger, plates and knives) against the motor body, ensuring it stays properly sealed during operation.
Replace it when the original mouth/body is damaged, out-of-round, corroded, or no longer holds the grinding unit securely.
