The mouth (mincer head) is the cylindrical body of the meat mincer that houses the auger, blade and perforated plate: it screws onto the motor body and holds the entire grinding assembly.

We recommend also purchasing the locking ring (handwheel), which secures the blade and plate in place: if it is worn or cracked, replacing only the mouth would not guarantee a tight seal on the grinding assembly.
Replace it when it shows cracks, damaged threads or excessive play with the auger, conditions that compromise grinding performance.
