magnet d. 4x10
Replacement cylindrical magnet with a 4 mm diameter and 10 mm length, designed for use in the magnetic sensor detection systems fitted on food processing machines.
- Diameter: 4 mm
- Length: 10 mm
- Shape: cylindrical
- Use: paired with magnetic (reed) sensors for position detection, for example on guards, covers or safety doors
This magnet acts as the active element of the detection system: as it approaches the sensor, it triggers the opening or closing of the contact, allowing the machine to check that the moving part (guard, door, cover) is correctly in position. When the magnet is damaged, loses strength or is lost, the sensor may no longer detect the position correctly, causing false alarms or preventing the machine from starting safely. In these cases it must be replaced with a spare of the same size to restore correct operation of the safety system.
