The magnetic knob is the component that, besides acting as the handle for securing the meat grinder's guard/hopper mouth, incorporates the magnet that operates the safety sensor fitted on the machine: the correct presence of the knob in place is detected by the magnetic sensor, which allows the motor to start only when the guard is correctly positioned and closed. It is therefore a genuine safety component, not just a cosmetic or clamping part.
- Application: Duplex meat grinder mod. 22/32
- Function: guard/hopper mouth fastening + magnetic actuator for the safety sensor
- Supplied complete (knob with built-in magnet)
It should be replaced when the knob is broken, when the internal magnet has weakened or shifted out of position, or when the machine no longer starts correctly even with the guard closed, a sign that the sensor is failing to detect it.
