Threaded magnetic sensor, D.12 diameter, for safety applications on professional food processing machines. It detects the position of guards, blade covers, lids or doors via a matching magnet, with no direct mechanical contact: when the guard is opened, the sensor no longer detects the magnet and cuts power to the motor, preventing operation with the machine open.

Compared to traditional mechanical microswitches, it offers greater long-term reliability, since the absence of direct contact reduces mechanical wear and failures caused by dirt or moisture. Replace it when the machine won't start even with the guards closed, or when the threaded body is broken or damaged.
