pilot burner with nozzle 0.2
Pilot burner complete with Ø 0.2 nozzle for professional gas cooking equipment. It generates the standing flame that ignites the main burner and keeps the thermocouple hot. Replace it when the pilot flame stays yellow, short or unstable even after cleaning the nozzle.
Pilot burner complete with Ø 0.2 nozzle (reference AGWS4.003.032). The pilot burner is the small standing flame of gas catering equipment — ranges, griddles, fryers, bratt pans, boiling pans and gas ovens: it stays lit on standby and ignites the main burner on heat demand, keeping the thermocouple hot so that the gas safety valve stays open.
- Supplied: pilot burner with nozzle included
- Nozzle: Ø 0.2
- Application: professional gas cooking equipment
When the pilot struggles: a yellow, short or unstable flame that does not wrap around the thermocouple, difficult ignition or a pilot that goes out as soon as the knob is released are the classic symptoms. The cause is often a nozzle clogged by residues and oxide; if the problem persists after cleaning, or the pilot body is corroded and deformed, replacing the complete assembly with a new nozzle restores a stable, well-directed flame. While you are at it, also check the condition of the thermocouple, which works in contact with the pilot flame.
