This insert/dowel for the extruded plate is a small spare part for the food-holder ('pressamerce') plate of RGV slicers. It acts as a support and stop element that fits into its seat on the plate, helping to keep the product steady and in place during cutting.

It is supplied in a pack of 2 pieces (code AGWS1824), a quantity that generally matches the number of dowels fitted on the same plate, allowing for a complete replacement in a single pack.

Replacement is recommended when the original dowel is worn, deformed, cracked or missing: in these cases the plate can lose its grip and support, leading to possible vibration or an unstable product position while using the slicer. It is a minor but useful spare part for keeping the food-holder arm assembly in good working condition.
