The pulley unit with tie rod is a spare part for RGV Lusso series gravity slicers in models 220, 250, 275 and 300, plus the Red Special Edition 250.
The pulley is part of the slicer's drive system: it receives motion from the motor and, through the belt, transfers it to the circular blade, making it rotate. The matching tie rod helps secure and correctly position the unit. It is therefore an essential mechanical component: if the pulley has play, a worn groove, or damaged tie-rod thread, the belt can slip or jump and the blade loses cutting consistency.
Replacement is recommended when you notice belt slippage, noise, vibration, or loss of torque at the blade, typical signs of wear in the pulley unit or tie rod.
