1-way solenoid valve for Brema ice makers (ref. 1.024.027). This is the single-outlet solenoid valve that controls water inlet into the ice maker: when the coil is energised the core lifts and opens the passage, and when power is cut the valve closes again and stops the flow.

Within the production cycle, the valve manages the filling of the tank with the water needed to form the ice cubes, ensuring a clean and consistent charge on every cycle. Being a 1-way valve, it handles a single water line feeding the ice production circuit.

Replacement is typically required when the machine does not take in water, when the valve leaks or drips even with the coil de-energised, or when the ice maker fails to produce ice because the tank is not filling. A plunger clogged with limescale or an open-circuit coil are the most common causes.
