Finder series 56.44 changeover relay with 24V AC coil, spare part for the electrical panels of slicers, mincers and food machines. The relay is the component that, driven by the coil, switches the power contacts to start, stop or reverse loads (motor, auxiliaries): it is a key element of the control logic.
The Finder series 56 is a plug-in industrial relay mounted on a socket; the .44 version has 4 changeover contacts (4 CO). When a relay is worn out (oxidised/stuck contacts, open coil) the machine will not start, will not switch or stays locked. Replacing it with the equivalent model restores the controls.
