The bottom closure plate is the panel that closes the lower part of the slicer body, covering the compartment housing the motor, gears and transmission mechanism. When broken, cracked or deformed, the machine base is left exposed to dust, food residue and moisture, with a risk of infiltration into the internal mechanism.
