Safety shield between the hand and the blade during slicing: mandatory component, to be replaced if broken or missing. Hole centre distance 14.9 cm (measurement to check for compatibility). Specific to FAC/Swedlinghaus, not interchangeable with RGV models.

Multi-ribbed belt that transmits drive from the motor to the blade assembly: the longitudinal ribs ensure grip and quiet running. It is a wear part — over time it becomes smooth, cracks or loses grip. Replace it when it slips or is damaged.
For RGV slicers mod. 195 GL and 220. Check the number of ribs (6) and the length (310 mm) against the belt currently fitted.
