The poly-V (multi-rib) belt transmits drive from the motor to the blade with a stable, quiet grip. It is a wear part: over time the ribs glaze or crack and the drive slips, causing the blade to lose power. Replace it when it is damaged or the blade slows down.
Specific to the Dolly 22/25 series; check the number of ribs (7) and the belt length (330 mm) before purchasing. Installation by a qualified technician.
