Silver tie rod for the Kelly Vertical slicer, with a pin length of 153 mm. It is the threaded rod that secures and tensions the blade guard (the cover protecting the non-cutting edge of the blade), keeping the safety guard firmly locked in place — a component with a direct safety role.

The silver designation refers to the silver finish typical of the Kelly vertical series (R.G.V.). The rod is screwed in to keep the blade guard under tension; when the thread wears out or strips, or the pin bends, the blade guard no longer stays properly locked and the part should be replaced to restore correct blade protection and safe operation of the slicer.
