The coarse-grain emery stone for slicers, 40 mm diameter, is the abrasive wheel of the removable sharpening unit for RGV slicers, models 195, 220, 250, 275, 300, 350 with 2-hole sail attachment. Its job is to restore the cutting profile of the blade edge when it has become deformed or dull: it is used first, before the finishing stage carried out by the matching fine-grain stone (ref. 816), with which it works in sequence within the same sharpener.
