On flywheel slicers, cutting is performed by manually turning the crank (flywheel), which coordinates the blade's motion with the advance of the food-holder carriage: with each turn the carriage advances by a preset thickness, ensuring uniform slices regardless of the operator's manual push. The advance plate is the mechanical element that transmits this steady motion to the carriage. When it is worn, bent, or broken, the advance becomes irregular, jerky, or jams, and slice thickness becomes inconsistent.
Replacement part compatible with the RGV F300 flywheel slicer, old type (VO) - corresponds to figure 5, item 7 of the RGV exploded parts diagram.
